Experience Istria Through Movement, Nature and Authentic Moments<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are events that are not just sports competitions \u2013 but experiences that stay with you.
One of these special events in the heart of north-western Istria is the Brtonigla Adventure Trek.<\/p>\n

This trail race gathers recreational runners, professionals and nature lovers from all over Croatia and abroad every year.<\/p>\n

I personally take part in this race year after year and always look forward to it \u2013 because of recreation, the beauty of nature and the sense of community that this event brings. I usually choose the shorter race, the 10 km fun & run route, because even when I am not in peak shape, it is still beautiful to run or simply walk and enjoy the surroundings.<\/p>\n

Brtonigla, known as the \u201cplace of four soils\u201d<\/em>, offers a unique landscape where vineyards, olive groves, forest trails, red and white soil and hidden paths through authentic Istrian villages constantly change scenery.<\/p>\n

Participating in a trail race is very different from running on asphalt. Trail running is a true encounter with nature \u2013 every step leads through a new landscape, a new scent and a new view.<\/p>\n

Trail races are becoming increasingly popular because they combine sport, tourism and outdoor experiences. The atmosphere at the start and finish is always relaxed, friendly and full of positive energy. Even those who do not participate often come to support runners, enjoy the event and discover the destination.<\/p>\n

Trail races such as Brtonigla Adventure Trek perfectly represent the philosophy of sustainable tourism. Running through the landscape allows participants to discover nature, tradition and the local community in an authentic way.<\/p>\n

Experiences like this are a great inspiration for the Atelier Lakota project. Our goal is to introduce guests to Istria through stories, movement, nature and lasting memories \u2013 always in a sustainable and mindful way.<\/p>\n
